Google invests $280 Million on Solar Panel Project

Pretty interesting story about how Google is investing $280 million dollars into a project that will help home owners install Solar Panels on their homes without having to pay the up front costs.
Here’s the full story:
“Google is investing $280 million to help private home owners put solar panels on their rooftops.”
SolarCity will install Solar Panels on the home owners roof and all they have to do is agree to pay for the power generated by the panels. It’s a Win Win scenario for everyone… even the environment wins!
Just imagine how many homes can be outfitted with panels that collect energy from the sun and can power part or all of the homes energy needs.
The idea is one example of how innovation and creativity can jump start mainstream use of renewable energy in America and around the world.
The biggest reason why most people don’t already have solar panels installed on their homes is because of the up front costs. This eliminates that problem completely!
This kind of thinking “outside the box” has the potential to transform the way we all look at renewable energy.
